PDO (polydiaxoanone) has been used for years as suture material in surgery.  It was discovered that these threads would increase the production of collagen over time.  Since then, it has been used to lift sagging facial features to give a fresh and more youthful appearance.  The PDO thread lift is a non surgical outpatient procedure.  Its impact is quite remarkable as you can see from these pictures.
